Replaced and Aphelion Confirmed for Xbox Game Pass April 2026

Microsoft is preparing the next batch of titles for Xbox Game Pass, and the first games confirmed for the April 2026 lineup have already been revealed.

We already know that more than 30 new games are arriving on Xbox this week, and attention is now turning to which titles will join the Game Pass catalog next. While additional announcements are expected in the coming weeks, two upcoming titles are currently scheduled to join the service.

Replaced arrives on April 14

As Pure Xbox writes, the first confirmed title is Replaced, which launches on April 14, 2026. The game is a cinematic 2.5D platformer set in an alternate version of 1980s America following a nuclear catastrophe.

Players take control of R.E.A.C.H., an artificial intelligence trapped inside a human body. As the story unfolds, players uncover the secrets of the powerful Phoenix Corporation in a cyberpunk-inspired narrative.

The game combines pixel art visuals with modern lighting effects and focuses heavily on atmosphere and storytelling. Replaced will be available through Xbox Game Pass on console, PC, and cloud.

Aphelion joins Game Pass later in April

Another confirmed addition is Aphelion, which is scheduled to arrive on April 28, 2026. The game follows astronaut Ariane, who becomes stranded on a frozen alien world while attempting to rescue her injured partner.

Players must explore the harsh planet, navigate dangerous terrain, and avoid threats while searching for a way to survive and complete the rescue mission. The game blends exploration, traversal mechanics, stealth elements, and narrative-driven science fiction gameplay.

Aphelion will launch on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and cloud through Xbox Game Pass.

Kiln could also appear in the April lineup

Another possible addition is Kiln, a title currently scheduled for release in Spring 2026. Although the game does not yet have a confirmed release date, an April launch would make it a potential candidate for the Game Pass lineup.

Microsoft typically announces additional Game Pass titles in waves throughout the month, meaning more games are likely to be revealed soon.

Xbox expands other services as well

Alongside the upcoming Game Pass titles, Microsoft continues expanding other Xbox ecosystem features. The recently updated Stream Your Own Game feature added 45 more titles that players can stream through Xbox Cloud Gaming without installing them locally.

Microsoft has also introduced new Xbox Store policies designed to prevent developers from publishing low-effort bundle spam, a practice that has previously cluttered the storefront with duplicate or heavily recycled content.

These changes come as Microsoft continues refining the Xbox ecosystem and preparing the next wave of Game Pass releases for April.
