The new Samsung Gaming Hub, an app designed to bring together various gaming services including Xbox Game Pass, rolls out today for 2022 Samsung smart TVs. Models receiving this update include the Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, QLEDs (above BU8000 models) and 2022 Smart Monitor Series products.
Samsung has hinted that they may bring the Gaming Hub to older 2021 smart TVs as well.
What is the Gaming Hub, exactly? It includes Google Stadia, NVIDIA GeForce Now, and as already mentioned, Xbox Game Pass with Xbox Cloud Gaming. Twitch and Amazon Luna will also be coming to Gaming Hub in the near future according to Samsung.
Samsung’s gaming TV hub on 2022 models launches today with Xbox Cloud Gaming. I like the future where you can simply play Xbox directly on your TV — no console or PC required.

You may recall that we reported that Xbox would be coming to Samsung smart TVs, as part of an ongoing effort to bring Xbox to as many screens as possible with or without an actual Xbox console.
Xbox head Phil Spencer spoke on this in a press statement, saying:
We’re on a quest to bring the joy and community of gaming to everyone on the planet, and bringing the Xbox app to smart TVs is another step in making our vision a reality. That’s why we’re excited to partner with Samsung, a global leader in TVs, on bringing Xbox to more players. Working with Samsung has helped us provide more access to gaming and enabled us to welcome new players into our thriving community.
Bringing Xbox (and Game Pass) to smart TVs – no console required – provides an excellent entry point for new gamers, and is a great option for those looking to declutter their living room entertainment setups without having to sacrifice their Xbox gaming.
