Housemarque showcased a new trailer for Saros during The Game Awards 2025 announcements, but despite the new trailer, the game got delayed.

Saros Gets Delayed to April 2026, But Pre-Order is Now Available

The reveal also confirmed disappointing news. Saros will no longer launch on March 20. The studio pushed the date back to April 30, 2026. The delay feels small in the grand scheme, but many fans still hoped to play the game sooner.

If you’re not familiar, Saros follows Arjun Devraj and his crew as they explore the hostile planet Carcosa, and the footage showcases fast-paced third-person combat and striking alien environments.

Players can secure the game already because pre-orders are open. The Digital Deluxe edition also grants 48-hour early access, which gives eager players a slight advantage before the full launch.

Saros will release only on PlayStation 5, and Housemarque expects the extra development time to help finalize the game’s systems and performance.
