Scuf, a maker of high-end gaming controllers for competitive players has revealed today the Designed for Xbox SCUF Instinct and Instinct Pro wireless controllers. The new controllers have been designed for Microsoft’s Xbox Series X|S consoles, though they’ll also work on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs as well.

The Scuf Instinct and Instinct Pro controllers offer many features found on Microsoft’s Xbox Elite Controllers, including four embedded back control paddles and interchangeable thumbsticks. The Pro model also features a Performance grip and adjustable Instant Triggers, letting gamers eliminate the trigger pull to get an advantage in fast-paced shooters.

Scuf has also included a Share button on the two controllers, as well as a button for muting any headset connected to the controllers. Gamers can also expect support for the same dynamic latency input technology found on Microsoft’s Xbox Series X|S controllers, but a 2m USB Type-C included is also included for lower latency play.

“With SCUF Instinct, gamers have a new advantage when playing on Xbox Series X|S. We’ve refined the way we deliver SCUF performance controllers, with a new form-factor that will appeal to an even wider range of gamers and hand sizes. Four Embedded Back Paddles, Instant Triggers, and a new thumbstick design combine to make our most reactive controller to date,” said Diego Nunez, SCUF Gaming Chief Marketing Officer.

The Scuf Instinct is now available at $169.99 on Scuf’s website, while the Instinct Pro controller starts at $199.99. Both controllers are not exactly cheap, but it’s good to see other manufacturers offer serious alternatives to Microsoft’s high-end Xbox Elite Controllers.
