Silent Hill Remake Release Window Tipped for 2027, Cast Details Also Out
Silent Hill fans might not have to wait much longer for another trip into the franchise’s nightmare-filled world. Bloober Team’s next project has resurfaced with fresh details, and the latest report offers a clearer picture of what Konami could have planned next.
Silent Hill Remake Reportedly Targets 2027
According to a report from MP1st, the remake of the original 1999 game is targeting a 2027 release. Konami and Bloober Team have yet to announce an official launch window, so plans could still change. The report also identifies Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew as actresses attached to the project. The game is reportedly being produced under the casting codename “Project Noise.” However, their exact roles remain unconfirmed, leaving fans guessing which characters they might portray.
Fritz has previous video game performance experience, including Battlefield 2042, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Luna Abyss. Matthew also has acting credits, including work on the audio drama Torchwood: The Story Continues.
The remake itself is confirmed, with Bloober Team returning after its work on Silent Hill 2 Remake. The original game follows Harry Mason as he searches for his missing daughter in the fog-covered town of Silent Hill.
Konami Wants More Silent Hill Games Beyond the Remake
A potential 2027 release would fit Konami’s broader plans for the horror franchise. Producer Motoi Okamoto previously discussed the publisher’s ambition to release roughly one Silent Hill game annually.
In an interview with Famitsu in early October, Okamoto confirmed that the company is considering additional projects beyond its initial wave of releases (via Game Observer). Those plans remain largely undisclosed, though the original game’s remake is already confirmed.
As of now, Konami has not revealed a release date, platforms, gameplay footage, or further casting information. If the reported release window holds, the remake could become another major entry in the franchise’s revival.
