Sky Go desktop app for British media TV

What is Sky Go?

Sky Go (formerly known as Sky Player, Sky Anytime on PC and Sky By Broadband) is an online television service from Sky which launched in January 2006. The service allows users to watch live and on-demand video content from their Mac, Windows PC, mobile phone or Xbox 360 via a broadband or Wi-Fi internet connection. On-demand content comprises sports highlights, the latest news, movies and TV programmes.

How can you access Sky Go services outside of the UK?

In order to enjoy Sky’s content, you must live in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland, otherwise, you get geolocation errors. This can be traversed by VPN which mimics a UK/RoI IP address in order to grant you access.

Check out the list with 5 best VPNs for unlimited access to Sky Go.  If you already have a VPN provider and cannot access Sky Go, read this article and fix it in 4 steps.
