How to convert DMs to channels in Slack

If you’re using Slack’s Business+ plan, you might want to pay attention. Starting August 17, Salesforce is increasing the price to $15 per user monthly if billed annually.

If you pay monthly, that number jumps to $18. For current users, renewing before that date gives you a way to hold onto the old rate for a bit longer. For new users, the higher price is already in effect.

While the Pro plan price stays put, Salesforce has quietly introduced a new Enterprise+ option. That one’s got more bells, more whistles, and, of course, a flexible, custom price tag. This isn’t just about charging more, it’s about baking AI into the platform.

Slack’s upcoming update, arriving July 17, brings a bundle of new AI features to every paid plan. Pro users get summaries of threads and conversations, plus automatic huddle notes. If you’re on Business+, you’ll get all of that, plus some added power: AI search, file and channel summaries, automatic translations, and even tools to generate workflows.

Enterprise+ adds even more control. Think of broader search capabilities, extra layers of security, and new governance tools. It’s basically built for larger organizations that want fine-tuned command over everything.
