Sony has announced the July 2026 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup, led by Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Rise of the Ronin.

Most of the new games will become available on July 21, although several titles have different release dates in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan. The lineup covers open-world adventures, action RPGs, simulators, platformers, survival games, and narrative experiences.

PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Games for July 2026

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will join the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for PlayStation 5 on July 21 worldwide.

The open-world game follows a Na’vi who was abducted and trained by the Resources Development Administration. After returning to Pandora, the character must reconnect with their heritage and help protect the Western Frontier.

The game combines first-person combat, exploration, flying, crafting, and a large open world based on the Avatar universe.

Rise of the Ronin

Rise of the Ronin is available for PlayStation 5 through the Game Catalog from July 15 in the United States and United Kingdom. The game arrives in Japan on July 16.

Developed by Team Ninja, Rise of the Ronin takes place in 19th-century Japan during a period of political conflict and social change.

Players explore an open world, complete missions, build relationships, and take part in melee combat. Team Ninja previously developed the Nioh and Ninja Gaiden series.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite launches globally for PlayStation 5 on July 21.

Players respond to fires and other emergencies across a fictional city in the Midwestern United States. Missions involve using firefighting equipment, rescuing civilians, and working with a coordinated crew.

The simulator supports cooperative multiplayer for up to four players. Solo players can complete missions alongside AI-controlled firefighters.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind joins the catalog for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on July 28 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan.

The retro-inspired 2D action game features side-scrolling combat and visuals influenced by classic arcade brawlers.

The Power Rangers must stop Rita Repulsa and Robo Rita from changing the team’s history. Players can fight through stages based on different moments from the franchise.

Dying Light

Dying Light arrives for PlayStation 4 on July 28 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan.

The first-person survival game takes place in a city devastated by a zombie outbreak. Players use parkour to move across rooftops while searching for supplies and fighting infected enemies.

The game also supports cooperative multiplayer, allowing players to explore the city and complete missions together.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector joins the PlayStation 5 catalog on July 28 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan.

Players control an artificial body containing an emulated human consciousness. The protagonist must escape the corporation that created them while avoiding a gang that wants to take control.

Gameplay focuses on managing a ship, recruiting crew members, accepting contracts, and making decisions through a dice-based system. Player choices can affect relationships, resources, and the direction of the story.

Snow Bros. Wonderland

Snow Bros. Wonderland launches for PlayStation 5 on July 28 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan.

The latest entry changes the series’ traditional 2D presentation to a 3D isometric format. Players freeze enemies into snowballs before launching them into other opponents.

Successful attacks can create longer chains, while larger bosses require players to make full use of the game’s snowball mechanics.

PlayStation Plus Premium Classics for July

Sony is also adding two PlayStation 2 games to the PlayStation Plus Premium Classics Catalog.

Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Indigo Prophecy will become available worldwide on July 21. Both classics can be played on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy

Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy follows elite agent Nick Scryer as he investigates the secretive Mindgate Project.

The action game gives players several psychic abilities, including telekinesis, mind control, and pyrokinesis. Players can use these powers during combat, stealth sections, environmental puzzles, and exploration.

Indigo Prophecy

Indigo Prophecy is an interactive drama developed by Quantic Dream, the studio behind Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls.

The story follows an investigation into a series of mysterious murders across New York City. Players experience events from multiple perspectives, including both suspects and investigators.

Choices made during conversations and other scenes can influence relationships and later events. The game originally launched under the name Fahrenheit outside North America, Portugal, and France.

In other PlayStation news, Sony’s $457 million lawsuit has become more serious. Reports also suggest Sony could use AI technology to make the PlayStation 6 deliver a 4K 120 FPS-style experience, while early projections indicate the PS6 could outsell Microsoft’s Xbox Project Helix at launch.
