YouTube is constantly evolving and it seems that the company is testing a new feature.
The feature in question is related to Super Chat messages, so without further delay, let’s see what’s new.
The ability to reply to Super Chat messages is currently in testing
If you’re not familiar, Super Chat messages are highlighted messages that you can send during a livestream for a certain fee.
While this feature is a great way for streamers to earn money and for the community to interact with streamers, it’s fairly limited. But as PhoneArena writes, that’s about to change.
YouTube is currently testing a feature that lets creators reply to a Super Chat message during a livestream. By doing so, it allows streamers to better interact with their fans.
This is currently in testing and available only to a handful of users. However, the company has plans to bring this feature to more users in the upcoming months, so stay tuned.
This isn’t the only change, and YouTube on desktop might display video suggestions horizontally in the future.
To learn more about upcoming features, don’t miss the latest information from the Google I/O 2024 event.
