If you are looking for a tool to enhance the bass, depth, and clarity of your music and video files, SRS Audio Essentials has got you covered. It is an audio mixer software that works to improve the sound of audio streams from various file formats.

SRS Audio Essentials offers six preset modes such as audio, movies, gaming, external speakers, built-in speakers, and headphones. However, you can configure the audio settings to produce varied playback quality that suits your taste. Also, personalized configurations can work better than the given presets, though it might depend on what type of audio you are listening to or video you are watching.

While the free version of SRS Audio Essentials provides easy-to-use standard options, the full version of SRS Audio Essentials lets you adjust the sound dimensions, treble, and bass with the use of customizable sliders found in the advanced settings. The tool includes a simulated 5.1 surround sound feature that you can apply to most video playback.

The tool is compatible with all PC media players, including Windows Media Player, VLC and iTunes. Key features include:

  • 3D surround sound
  • High-definition audio playback
  • Deep bass
  • Intuitive interface
  • Clear vocals
  • Personalized settings
  • Compatibility with various media players
  • Voice mode for audio books and podcasts
  • Audio tuning adjustment

While the tool can sometimes distort the sound, it works better than the other audio improvement software tools like Breakaway. At some point during playback, SRS Audio Essentials lowers the sound level, but it should not be an issue if you have gigantic speakers. You can download the tool on your Windows XP, Windows 7 computer for free and check out its performance.

You can also install it on Windows 10, but keep in mind that it occasionally causes various OS bugs, especially on Windows 10 Pro.
