Teams users in North America face audio and video quality issues, Microsoft confirms
Microsoft has confirmed that some Teams users in North America may experience poor audio and video quality, following reports of degraded performance across the platform. The company says it is actively investigating the issue and has assigned it the tracking ID TM1248186 in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
According to latest update on X, Microsoft confirmed that the issue appears to have stem from a portion of the network infrastructure not handling traffic as expected. The company says corrective measures have been implemented and the service is being closely monitored to ensure a full recovery.
The company did not provide an exact timeline for when normal service would be fully restored, but reassured users that the issue is isolated to certain North American regions and does not affect the global Teams network.
