Microsoft Technical Takeoff 2025

For the third time, this year’s Microsoft Technical Takeoff, an online event, will focus on migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and all the benefits this migration encompasses.

If you remember, Microsoft announced a while ago that Windows 10 will reach its EOS later this year, in October. The operating system, which turns 10 this year, will still be supported for 3 more years for those who don’t want to migrate, although users will have to pay for it.

The Redmond-based tech giant recommends migrating to Windows 11, which is the easier and ultimately the best path.

To encourage organizations to do it, Microsoft Technical Takeoff 2025 will host several workshops focusing on Windows 11 and Windows 10, with two in particular that IT admins shouldn’t miss. The first one is called Enabling accessible Windows 11 experiences: an IT pro’s guide, and it takes place on March 5. The second one focuses on Windows 11 EOS: Myths, misconceptions, and FAQs, and it takes place on March 6.

If you haven’t made the move yet, Microsoft aims to ease the path and migrate your organization’s infrastructure to the newer Windows version.

Those interested can register to attend the sessions by visiting the official blog post and clicking on the events mentioned earlier.
