Microsoft knows that one of the keys to your heart is shopping, so it just provided another reason why you should use Copilot to fill up your cart. The software giant has unveiled two innovative ad formats designed exclusively for Copilot users. These new formats, Showroom Ads and Dynamic Filters, aim to provide a more interactive and personalized experience for users, At the same time, it’s offering brands new ways to engage with their audience.

The Showroom Ads format emulates the experience of visiting a physical showroom. When you’re searching information about a product, you are presented with an ad experience that showcases the product’s benefits through rich, sponsored content.

Next, you can interact with the ad by asking questions about the product. In the future, Microsoft plans to integrate virtual brand representatives into these ads, allowing users to connect directly with brand agents for more personalized interaction. A pilot program for Showroom Ads is set to launch in April with select clients.

The second format, Dynamic Filters, is designed to help you narrow down your product searches based on individual preferences. These ads adapt dynamically to your queries to make it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for. The pilot for Dynamic Filters will begin this March in English-language markets.

To conclude, through Microsoft Advertising Showroom ads, you will be able to talk to Copilot until you find the right product you’re looking for.

Obviously, Microsoft is trying to monetize Copilot while delivering value to both users and advertisers. Whether or not this will bring users closer to Copilot remains to be seen in the future.
