Path of Exile 2

Despite its release date of December 6, Path of Exile 2, the hotly anticipated role-playing game from Grinding Gear Games, is already available to some Xbox users, and even better, it can be accessed now. The game was already announced that it’s coming to all consoles, earlier this year.

Gamers have taken to Reddit to share pictures of themselves managing to access the game a week before its official release. Some were able to access the login screen, and others were even able to set up their settings in the game for a smooth experience.

So why is this?

Well, this is all thanks to the pre-download option in the Xbox Store, which allows gamers to pre-download the game several weeks before its release. The servers will go live on the day of the Path of Exile 2’s release, and the gamers can enter its world.

But until then, you can only delight yourself with the login screen.

Why does the Xbox Store allow pre-downloads? It’s easier, and those who are eager to play the game very early, right after its launch, can simply prepare themselves for it by downloading it.

Xbox has allowed these options with Starfield in the past, especially due to its big size. Players could download it in advance and then simply play it when it was released.

You can pre-download Path of Exile 2 for Xbox now.
