These Four PS Plus Extra Games Are Set to Leave in January 2026
The date is January 20, 2026
Sony has confirmed the next batch of games leaving the PS Plus Extra catalog. As spotted by PushSquare, the service’s “Last Chance to Play” section includes the following:
- Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
- SD Gundam Battle Alliance
- Sayonara Wild Hearts
- Monopoly Plus
The aforementioned games leave on January 20, 2026. And unlike PS Plus Essential, games in the Extra tier are only playable while they stay in the catalog. Once these titles leave, access will be removed unless they’re purchased separately.
Given the date, there’s still plenty of time left for you to plan ahead. If you haven’t touched Sayonara Wild Hearts, it’s best to give it a try, as it is one of the shortest among those leaving in January.
If any of these are sitting in your backlog, you might want to jump into them right now; the deadline is approaching.
So, which one are you planning to get around this Christmas season? Let us know in the comments below.
