Tiny11 Could Soon Bring Lightweight Windows 11 26H2 to More PCs

Tiny11 developer NTDEV has teased a major update to the popular Windows 11 debloating tool, describing the upcoming release as “Tiny11, reimagined from the ground up.”

The developer shared a screenshot of the Tiny11 Builder interface but did not reveal any new features or a release date. The announcement comes almost a year after Tiny11’s last release in November 2025.

While the teaser suggests a significant overhaul, it remains unclear whether NTDEV plans to redesign the builder, introduce new debloating capabilities, or change how the tool creates lightweight Windows 11 installations.

What to expect from the new Tiny11?

Tiny11 allows users to create lightweight versions of Windows 11 by removing unnecessary components. The tool can help reduce storage and memory requirements while bypassing certain Windows 11 installation restrictions.

This makes it particularly useful for older computers that struggle with Windows 11’s hardware requirements, as well as users who want a cleaner installation without unnecessary applications and background services.

The upcoming version could expand support to Windows 11 releases ranging from 22H2 to the latest 26H2, potentially allowing users to create lightweight installations of Microsoft’s newest operating system.

Additional customization options and performance improvements are also possible, although NTDEV has yet to confirm any specific changes.

Support for Windows 11 26H2 would be particularly relevant for users looking to install the latest version on unsupported hardware. However, NTDEV has not confirmed which Windows versions the redesigned builder will support.

For users interested in other Windows 11 optimization tools, a recent test showed that Windows 11 26H2 RAM usage drops to just 2.5GB with Rufus. Meanwhile, POP4.2 just bypassed Windows 11 26H2 CPU requirements, offering another workaround for unsupported hardware.

For now, NTDEV has only offered a glimpse of the upcoming Tiny11 release, with more details about its features and availability still to come.
