Usually, the Microsoft Answers forum is a place where Windows users are asking for help with problems they encountered with their systems or software. That’s why it’s a bit strange to find a Microsoft employee asking for help in gathering data to solve an issue.
In this case, Irene’s post on the Microsoft Answers forum is asking users to provide any logs concerning possible problems with sharing photos on the Skype Insider app:
We have seen reports by some Skype users facing issues when sending Photos or Audio Messages within Skype. For these users, we are sorry to see that you are facing this issue. So, we need your help, please.
What can I do if I have problems with sending photos in Skype?
So, if you’re an insider using the Skype Insider app, or are willing to download it to help solve this issue, Irene wants you to send a report with a log within the application.
You can do that by going to Settings -> Help & Feedback -> Report a problem -> Send report with logs and attach the so much needed evidence.
We can also help with our guide on how to fix Skype if you can’t send images. This proves that Microsoft is heavily relying on user’s help when it comes to software issues.
Asking for help is not wrong, in fact, it demonstrates that they acknowledge the problems and are willing to do something about it.
