  • Faulty camera – Check that your camera is working properly by taking a photo of something else. If the camera doesn’t work then it could be an issue with your device or the operating system itself.
  • You have WhatsApp running on another browser – If you are using WhatsApp on multiple devices, then there are chances that you will face problems with the QR code. This is because the QR code is locked to a particular browser or device.
  • Using a third-party QR code scanner – If you are using a third-party application to scan your WhatsApp QR code you may also face this issue. The problem is that WhatsApp may not be compatible with the QR code reader.
  • You’re using an outdated app/browser – If you’re using an outdated app or browser, you might experience errors when using WhatsApp’s QR code feature. To fix this problem, update your app or browser to the latest version.

1. Log out from all devices

The first thing you should do is log out from all devices on WhatsApp. If you are using multiple devices at the same time, then it’s possible that you might be logged in with more than one device at a time.

2. Update your browser

All you need to do is update to the latest version and each time you log in to WhatsApp Web, your account will load automatically.
