Windows 10 Creators Update Bloatware Free Edition has been updated to version 5.5.

Windows Defender is gone

Version 5.5 removed Windows Defender, the default antivirus usually offered with the OS According to statistics, Windows Defender is not really the best antivirus option since it wasn’t the most advanced one on the market. But, on the other hand, without it, Windows 10 remains pretty exposed to malware.

Lack of Windows updates and pre-installed apps

This version of Windows comes without any updates, .Net Framework 3.5 and without the most pre-installed apps and the home group for geolocation services. It will include the Sticky Notes, the Calculator, and the Xbox, however. It will also include a few feature tweaks.

All these changes are meant to keep the ISO as lightweight as possible and to avoid potential errors.

The release doesn’t belong to Microsoft, so watch out for potential bugs

Having a light version of the Windows 10 Creators Update may turn out to be useful, but it is crucial to understand that this is not an official release and it definitely doesn’t belong to Microsoft.

This ISO was created with changes applied to the original Windows 10 Creators Update, and it will be up to users if they decide to install it or not. The company will not provide any support for users who install this ISO and it may come with bugs. Usually, Microsoft is against such modified version of its OS.

But on the other hand, there are many users who have already installed it and they haven’t found any bugs yet. If you’re also considering getting the Windows 10 Creators Update Bloatware Free Edition, you can from it from here.
