Microsoft has just rolled out Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 28020.1546 (KB5074176) to the Canary Channel, giving early testers another chance to explore upcoming Windows improvements. While this build is not packed with features, it focuses on enhancing the everyday experience for those running pre-release versions of Windows 11.

The update addresses a few minor but important issues. Notably, Microsoft fixed problems with apps handling files stored on OneDrive or Dropbox, which should make cloud workflows more reliable for Insiders.

Besides that, general improvements and stability tweaks have been applied to smooth out the build for daily use. As with most Canary Channel releases, this build comes with some quirks. The desktop watermark currently shows the wrong build number, though Microsoft says this will be corrected in a future update.

Additionally, features in the Canary Channel often roll out gradually through Microsoft’s Control Feature Rollout system, so not all testers may see every change immediately. Speaking of updates, yesterday, Microsoft also pushed Windows 11 Insider Preview Build for testers enrolled in the Beta and Dev channels.
