Those of you who are playing the famous Uno card game with your friends should now be delighted to know that a Windows 10, 8 app has been released by Gameloft. Read this post to find out more.

Up until today, there weren’t too many professionally made UNO games in the Windows Store for Windows 10, 8 users. Gameloft, one of the biggest companies that make mobile games, has launched the UNO & Friends game for Windows 10, 8 and Windows RT users and it is available to download for free in the Windows Store (link at the end).

The Uno card game description for Windows 10, 8 users goes like this:

Playing UNO with friends, family, and millions of fans worldwide has never been easier! Join one of the largest free online mobile gaming communities and enjoy an all-new free multiplayer experience, competitive leaderboards and fun customization options that let you shout “UNO!” on a whole new level!

You can invite your friends and play with them or choose to challenge millions of other UNO fans from all over the world. But this isn’t an ordinary “boring” Uno card game, as it will let you make use of Boosts & Super Boosts to increase your chances of winning. You can also personalize your UNO card game by changing the backgrounds, the card deck designs and even by adding some special effects.

Weekly contests are being held where you can win rewards and increase your standing in the leaderboards. What’s also awesome about the game is that the multiplayer mode isn’t restricted to Wi-Fi, there is also the possibility to play over 3G. Install the game if you’re a true UNO fan and let us know what you think about it. It is worth mentioning that this game is not subject to Xbox Live Family Settings.

UNO & Friends received a 4.1 user score in the Microsoft Store. This means that most players are satisfied with the game. This also indicates that UNO & Friends is a great choice if you’re looking for a fun and addictive game to play with your friends.

The only downside identified by players is related to the amount of available coins. Long story short, the game is fun to play until you run out of coins.

The real card game has been recreated very well. As an uno fan, I hoped this game would be at least half decent, and it delivers. Graphics are great, little/no lag, and an overall well done game. Only downside that I see is that it’s pay-to-play. Yes, you do get coins for free, but only enough to play about one or two games an hour unless you win every game you play. This makes it hard to play this game for very long.

If you already played UNO & Friends, tell us more about your gaming experience in the comments below.
