And with the launch of Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, the app has gotten released in the Windows Store and then has received some important updates which made it even better.

According to the latest version of the Yammer app for Windows 8, here are the new features (some of them might have remained from the previous update) – live tile support, badge counts and toast push notifications. Also, there’s now conversation snapped view, share thread from conversation view and various performance enhancements, as well as bug fixes have been put in place.
Just like before, the app will let you have easy access to conversations inside your company, like and respond to messages, post various project details, preview documents and images right within the Yammer app, share content with your coworkers by using the Share Charm and easily browse through your Group feeds, along with other useful features.
