YouTube Premium Gets Another Price Hike Across Europe & Asia

YouTube Premium subscribers are reportedly about to face another price hike, just months after the service became more expensive in the US. The platform is now hiking prices across several international markets, with some users already receiving emails about higher monthly bills.

YouTube Premium price is increasing once again

The latest increases vary by country, but reported hikes generally fall around 10% to 15%. In some European markets, individual plans are moving from €13.99 to €15.99 per month. Finland is seeing its individual plan rise from €14.99 to €16.99. Romania is moving from RON 29 to RON 32 per month.

Singapore is also getting a notable increase. The individual plan rises from S$13.98 to S$15.98, while Family jumps from S$27.98 to S$31.98.

YouTube says the Singapore increase will help it “continue delivering great service and features.” The company also says it will support creators and artists through the change.

When will the higher YouTube Premium prices start?

Existing subscribers will generally receive at least 30 days’ notice before a higher price applies. YouTube says affected memberships will move to the new rate during billing cycles occurring on or after September 23, 2026.

That being said, pricing differs between markets, so users should check their YouTube membership page. Google says subscribers can view their current price and billing details there.

The timing is especially interesting after YouTube raised US prices earlier this year. The US individual plan increased from $13.99 to $15.99, while Family moved from $22.99 to $26.99.
