8 Games Are Already Confirmed for XBOX Game Pass in October 2026

Eight games are already confirmed for XBOX Game Pass in October 2026, with Gears of War: E-Day leading a lineup that also includes Valor Mortis, Echo Weaver, and several day-one releases.

September remains busy as well, with 32 new games coming to XBOX from September 14–18. Looking ahead, at least eight October Game Pass releases have now been confirmed, according to TrueAchievements.

Gears of War: E-Day arrives October 6

Gears of War: E-Day is the biggest confirmed addition so far and launches for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 6.

The game takes place 14 years before the original Gears of War and follows the beginning of Emergence Day. Players who purchase the Premium Edition or Premium Edition Upgrade can start five days earlier, on October 1.

Forever Ago and Echo Weaver launch October 8

Forever Ago joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 8. Developed by Third Shift and published by Annapurna Interactive, the narrative adventure follows Alfred on a road trip north as he searches for redemption while dealing with loss, regret, friendship, and broken dreams.

Echo Weaver launches the same day. The 2D puzzle-platformer centers on mastering a time loop and manipulating temporal anomalies. Developer Moonlight Games describes it as a knowledge-based Metroidvania, where information gathered during previous attempts helps players progress.

Deep Dish Dungeon and Valor Mortis arrive October 13

Deep Dish Dungeon comes to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 13. The cooperative dungeon crawler has players explore for treasure, puzzles, secrets, and resources before returning to a campsite to cook meals and craft better equipment.

Valor Mortis also arrives on October 13. From the creators of Ghostrunner, the first-person action soulslike follows a dead soldier from Napoleon’s army who returns to life after a mysterious plague devastates Europe.

Players can use powers created by the plague while fighting mutated enemies and uncovering the mystery behind the protagonist’s resurrection.

Beyond These Stars launches October 15

Beyond These Stars joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 15.

The city-building game lets players establish an entire civilization on the back of a giant space whale traveling through the cosmos. Players need to build settlements, collect resources, manage their citizens, and keep the whale happy.

The Séance of Blake Manor arrives October 27

The Séance of Blake Manor launches on XBOX and joins Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass on October 27.

Players take the role of private investigator Declan Ward as he investigates the disappearance of a woman from the Blake Manor hotel.

Characters follow their own schedules, and every player action advances the in-game clock, making timing an important part of solving the case.

Terrible Lizards closes out the month

Terrible Lizards joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on October 29.

The horror parkour game takes place inside Dalton’s Dinos, an abandoned Route 66 roadside attraction. Players must run, jump, climb, wall-run, and slide through the environment while trying to escape.

These are only the games confirmed so far, and Microsoft has not yet revealed the complete October 2026 Game Pass lineup.

In other XBOX news, 25 new handheld games have arrived, including Aniimo and Cassette Beasts.
