Speaking of which, a new update for Outlook has been released, so without further ado, let’s dive into it and see what’s new.
KB5002574 for Outlook 2016 brings several improvements and fixes
The latest update has been released and according to the KB5002574 documentation, this update will block the external card loop failure.
To achieve that, there is a new policy available with the following settings:
- Always show automatically
- Only show automatically within tenant
- Don’t show automatically
The update also fixes an issue that causes the Group Policy Editor not to load correctly after creating a new policy for the blocked external card loop.

If you’re having issues with external card loop failure, be sure to get this update. Outlook also has a privacy bug that reveals attendees, and so far, it hasn’t been addressed.
As for other issues, Gmail is blocking Outlook, and Microsoft has a workaround, however, an official solution would be appreciated.
