Microsoft has released a new update for Surface Pro 9 with 5G (SQ3 Processor). The new version addresses video glitches, screen flashing/flickering issues, and unexpected crashes.
Here is the changelog available on the update history page:
- Enhances the gaming experience by preventing glitches in the video playback.
- Addresses an issue that was causing the device to unexpectedly crash.
- Fixes a flickering or screen flashing issue when the device is connected to Surface Dock 2.

The update is available for Surface Pro 9 with 5G (SQ3 Processor) devices with Windows 11 Update, version 22H2 update or higher.
To install the update on your device, go to Settings>Windows Update. You can also manually install the update from this website. All you need to do is choose the version compatible with your device’s OS. Once done, double-click the file to initiate the installation The file size is 382.6 MB, so ensure you have enough space.
