Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown (TDUSC) is almost here. For those who don’t know, the game is somewhat like Forza Horizon, Gran Turismo, Need For Speed, and The Crew. So, if you are a fan of racing games, head to Steam and put this one on your wishlist. The release date of TDUSC is September 12, 2024, and it will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown comes after 13 years

There hasn’t been any TDU game since 2011. In addition, according to Racinggamesgg, the previous release date for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown was September 22, 2022. So, hopefully, this time, publishers won’t delay it further.

From the trailer, we can see what the graphics of the game look like. On top of that, the game seems to focus on the multiplayer factor, which means that the game will most likely be an MMO.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown takes place on a 1:1 replica of Hong Kong Island. You can explore the city and its off-road surroundings. Also, you will have plenty of races to do with the same cars because it will take around 100 hours to get to your first hypercar class.

If you don’t feel like racing, you can also cruise around the town at your leisure. In addition, you can visit hubs, buy clothes, customize your avatar, and interact with others. You won’t be able to buy houses from the beginning of the game, but the game devs already have this feature planned.

There are 14 dealerships across the island, and you can meet players while browsing for cars. Also, you can access workshops to personalize and tweak them. Combustion-powered cars will have 13 customizable parts across six categories, while electric cars will have 12, but some of the options will be locked behind reputation.

You can play the game earlier

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will be available in four editions: Standard, Silver Streets, Silver Sharps, and Gold. The Standard Edition is $60. The Silver Streets and Silver Sharps are around $80, and besides bonuses, they give you a 2-day early access. Lastly, the Gold Edition is around $90 and comes with VIP beta access and a 7-day early access. So, if you are competitive, you can start earlier.

Ultimately, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown might exceed our expectations. After all, it focuses on the relationship between the players and their cars. On top of that, with every race, you will improve your character’s lifestyle as well. However, the game will have strong competition because Forza Horizon 6 is also on the way.
