Discord Email Is Already Registered - What To Do?

If you see the “Discord email is already registered” message, you’re mistakenly trying to create an account instead of logging in. Luckily, you can fix the error by tapping on the login and adding your credentials. However, if you registered accidentally or someone did it without your consent, you can recover it or remove your phone number and delete the account.

How To Recover a Discord Account

Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Discord website and tap Login in the top right corner.

2. Enter the email address and tap “Forgot your password?”

3. Discord will notify you that instructions to change your password have been sent to your email. 

4. Open your email to access the messages, tap Reset Password, enter a new one, and click Change Password.

5. You’ll get your account back and receive an email confirming that you’ve changed the password.

That’s it! If you registered accidentally, you now have your account with an updated password. However, if someone registered it without your knowledge, you can delete it.

How To Delete a Discord Account

Here are the steps to follow:

1. You’ll first need to recover your Discord account, as shown above.
2. Log in and tap the settings icon beside your username.

3. Scroll and click Delete Account under Account Removal.
