The Xbox app on Windows is getting a fresh look. Xbox Insiders, including those coming from PCs, will be the first to experience the new Home design.
The Xbox app on Windows is becoming faster and easier to navigate with the rollout of a new Home tab. The goal is to create a unified experience that combines the best and latest content from both the Game Pass and Microsoft Store tabs.
This all-in-one Home tab will show you the latest games, news, curated recommendations, free-to-play content, and deals. It’s rolling out to Xbox Insiders starting today and will be available to all Xbox players on Windows in the coming weeks.
The new Home tab has several sections, including Featured Games, Deals and Discounts, Curated Collections, and more. You can also quickly jump back into games you’ve been playing recently without navigating to different parts of the app.
The Xbox app on Windows has needed an update for some time now. It’s been slow and clunky, and the old design shows its age. The update has already been available to Xbox Insiders and will soon roll out to everyone.
You can read more about it here.
In other news, speaking of Xbox, the company is deprecating the Game Pass app, and it will no longer be available for download starting in November.
