GTA 6 Title IDs Surface in PlayStation Database, Fueling Pre-Orders Speculation
Grand Theft Auto VI (aka GTA 6 in short) is the most anticatpated games of 2026. Rockstar Games, the studio behind GTA 6, is all set for November release. Although, we’re months away from the actual release date, the hype around GTA 6 shows no signs of slowing, thanks to multiple rumors and leaks that have been circulating online. Now, a new leak suggests that GTA 6 pre-orders may be closer than ever.
Backend PlayStation update sparks fresh excitement among GTA 6 fans
The news comes via data mining expert @PlayStationSize on X (formerly Twitter), which reported that title IDs for GTA 6 have been added to the PlayStation Store database. For those unaware that’s a backend change that often precedes the opening of pre-orders and full storefront listings.
Title IDs are internal identifiers used by Sony’s digital platform to organize games by region, edition, and distribution format. In other words, their presence hints that Rockstar Games is preparing infrastructure for a product page, pricing, and preorder options, even before Sony makes anything public.
Mot to mention, this news has reignited buzz around GTA 6, especially given its history of delays. The game is still scheduled for a November 19, 2026 release, after being pushed back from earlier windows. But with the backend updates now visible to database trackers, many believe the next phase, including pre-order launch and pricing details, could be imminent. Reports from multiple news outlets point out that the addition of title IDs often precedes preorder rollouts by weeks or even days, though timing is never guaranteed.
