Sega and Creative Assembly have jointly announced Alien: Isolation 2 at the ongoing Summer Game Fest 2026, and it brings back one of the most beloved survival horror franchises in gaming.

The brief world premier trailer didn’t reveal much about the story, but it certainly delivered on atmosphere. The footage teased a terrifying new setting, with the deadly Xenomorph set loose on a seemingly unsuspecting colony world.

As expected, the alien once again appears to be the biggest threat, hunting survivors across the facility and creating the kind of tension that made the original game so memorable.

While details remain scarce for now, the game is already available to wishlist.

For those unfamiliar, Alien: Isolation originally launched in 2014 and quickly earned a reputation as one of the best horror games ever made. Rather than focusing on action, the game forced players to rely on stealth and survival as they navigated a space station while being relentlessly hunted by a highly intelligent Xenomorph.

The sequel appears set to build on that same formula, promising another nerve-wracking experience for horror fans.
