GPT-6 Astra Launches With 99.9% ARC-AGI-3 and 100% ExploitBench Scores

OpenAI has finally released GPT-6 Astra, and this one is designed for far more than chatting. The new model can operate computers, build software, tackle scientific work, and handle complex professional tasks. OpenAI also claims major jumps across reasoning, coding, and cybersecurity benchmarks.

GPT-6 Astra wants to work like you

The biggest upgrade is computer use. Astra can fill forms, update records, browse websites, create plots, and troubleshoot software. OpenAI says Astra scored 59.3% on Agents’ Last Exam. GPT-5.6 Sol reached 53.6% on the same comparison.

Astra also completed OSWorld 2.0 tasks with a 72.6% score. OpenAI says it did so in roughly 47% less time than Sol. The model can create websites, games, documents, presentations, and spreadsheets. It can also follow existing templates while keeping their structure and visual style.

OpenAI is also upgrading Codex alongside Astra. The company says the combination completes Mind2Web tasks 1.9 times faster.

Coding and cybersecurity get a serious push

Astra reaches 57.7% on Terminal-Bench 4.0. GPT-5.6 Sol scores 37.3%, according to OpenAI’s published results. The cybersecurity numbers are even more striking. Astra scores 100% on ExploitBench, compared with 78.5% for GPT-5.6 Sol.

OpenAI says Astra also discovered two previously unknown zero-day vulnerabilities during internal testing. Those vulnerabilities were disclosed to their maintainers. The model reaches 97.6% on FrontierMath Tier 4. It also posts 96% on GPQA Diamond.

OpenAI is limiting its most advanced cybersecurity abilities behind additional safeguards. The company says Astra meets its Critical cybersecurity threshold. GPT-6 Astra is rolling out first to selected organizations. ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users will receive access over the coming days.

The API model is available as gpt-6-astra, with standard pricing at $10 per million input tokens. Output costs $50 per million tokens. OpenAI is clearly betting Astra can move AI from answering questions toward actually completing work. The real test now begins when millions of users put that promise into practice.
