NVIDIA RTX 50 Series GPUs Face Another Round of Price Hikes

NVIDIA RTX 50 GPU prices are already soaring, and new reports suggest another round of price increases could hit GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards this month.

The latest reports claim several major NVIDIA board partners have already raised prices, including ASUS, GALAX, MSI, GIGABYTE, and Inno3D. Supply shortages appear to be one of the main factors pushing prices higher.

The reports follow warnings from Japanese retailers that GPU prices could climb again as availability tightens.

RTX 5080 could see a much bigger price increase

A new ChannelGate report claims Colorful could increase the price of its GeForce RTX 5080 by around 800 yuan, or approximately $119.

That figure exceeds an earlier reported increase of around 500 yuan, or roughly $74, suggesting pricing pressure on the RTX 5080 could be getting worse.

The exact impact on retail prices outside China remains unclear, but another increase would add to an already difficult market for buyers looking for RTX 50 series cards near their original MSRPs.

RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti prices are also rising

The RTX 5070 series could also become more expensive.

GALAX’s RTX 5070 Ti could reportedly increase by around 100 to 150 yuan, equivalent to roughly $14 to $22.

The RTX 5070 could see a larger adjustment of around 200 to 300 yuan, or approximately $30 to $44.

However, the report does not clearly explain whether these figures represent additional increases on top of previous adjustments or updated estimates for the same pricing changes.

GIGABYTE could cut RTX 5070 supply by 30%

Availability could make the RTX 5070 situation even worse.

GIGABYTE reportedly lacks enough RTX 5070 inventory to meet current demand and could reduce supply this month by as much as 30% compared with last month.

A significant supply reduction could put even more upward pressure on prices. Previous reports already claimed GIGABYTE could raise prices on some RTX 50 series graphics cards by up to $30.

NVIDIA may also make changes to the RTX 5070 itself. Recent reports suggest the company could launch a new RTX 5070 using the larger GB203 GPU.

For now, buyers looking at RTX 50 series GPUs could face both higher prices and tighter availability if the latest supply reports prove accurate.
