Microsoft Teams users are running into another calling issue, with Microsoft investigating reports that some users are currently unable to make or receive calls. The company has acknowledged the problem through Microsoft 365 Service Health under incident TM1475580.

Microsoft Teams calls are failing for some users

Microsoft’s latest advisory on X notes, “We’re investigating an issue in which some users may be unable to make or receive calls within Microsoft Teams.” Microsoft has not yet published details about what is causing the calling problems or whether the incident is affecting a particular Teams client, region or calling configuration.

The company has previously experienced Teams incidents affecting calls and meetings. For users currently affected, restarting Teams or checking the Microsoft 365 Service Health dashboard may help determine whether the problem is local or part of the ongoing incident. Microsoft recommends checking ongoing service incidents when Teams calls or meetings repeatedly fail.

This is a developing story…
