Microsoft hides Add device button from Bluetooth settings

It’s that time of the month: Microsoft launched Windows 11 Insider Build 25309, featuring a plethora of new features you do not want to miss, live on the Dev Channel for several select users.

Not too long after announcing the Moment 2 update for general availability, which includes the Bing AI chatbot on the taskbar and the Phone Link availability for iPhone users, the Redmond-based tech giant came out with good news for insiders.

However, as noted by Windows enthusiast @PhantomOnEarth, it seems like Microsoft is experimenting by hiding the Add device button from Bluetooth settings if the device doesn’t support Bluetooth connection. The antidote feature itself is living inside the build and is not activated by default without a few registry tweaks via ViVeTool.

It’s not clear what Microsoft is trying to achieve by experimenting with this, but it’s a nice feature nonetheless. With this, you can easily know if your device supports the Bluetooth connection or not.
