The studio confirmed that its next major release, the Cold Snap update, will launch on 16 December, sharing a short teaser post on social media to build excitement.
While official details remain limited, the community roadmap offers a clear glimpse of what’s coming. Players can expect a brand-new snowfall map condition, which should introduce more than a simple visual change. Reduced visibility, altered movement, or new enemy behaviors are all possibilities that could reshape how squads approach encounters. Alongside that, the update introduces the Flickering Flames event, adding fresh objectives and time-limited activities to keep the world feeling dynamic.
