ASUS ExpertBook B3 G2 Launches With Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and Copilot+ PC Features
ASUS has confirmed recent price increases on select PC hardware due to ongoing memory shortages, and it also introduced a new Level Sense feature to help prevent GPU sag. Now, the company is expanding its business lineup with the launch of the ExpertBook B3 G2, a new configurable Copilot+ laptop for enterprise users.
ExpertBook B3 G2 targets AI-powered enterprise workflows
ASUS announced the ExpertBook B3 G2 in both 14-inch and 16-inch variants, with a lightweight design starting at just 1.45 kg. The chassis features a 180-degree lay-flat hinge and meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards, passing 24 tested procedures.
The laptop runs on up to Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processors, combining integrated graphics and NPU acceleration for AI-focused tasks. It supports up to 96GB of DDR5 memory and up to 6TB of dual SSD storage, positioning it as a high-end option for demanding business environments.
With an NPU rated at up to 50 TOPS, the system delivers dedicated AI acceleration for on-device workloads. As a Copilot+ PC, it integrates Microsoft’s AI capabilities alongside ASUS MyExpert AI tools.
AI features, security focus, and enterprise-ready design
ASUS MyExpert enables document summarization, translation, writing refinement, and natural language assistance directly on the PC. The system also introduces meeting intelligence tools, including transcripts, summaries, translations, and automated follow-up task lists.
Display options go up to a 2.5K anti-glare panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate, and the 14-inch model can include a touchscreen. For video conferencing, users get up to a 5MP IR camera, along with AI noise-canceling technology for clearer calls.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and a wide range of enterprise-focused I/O ports. Cooling relies on the ExpertCool thermal solution, and the chassis allows easier maintenance for IT departments.
Security stands out as a major pillar. ASUS equips the device with ExpertGuardian protection, TPM 2.0, dual-ROM recovery, chassis intrusion detection, and compliance with NIST SP 800-193. The company also promises five years of BIOS and driver updates, along with a dedicated Security Processor Unit and cloud recovery support.
ASUS positions the ExpertBook B3 G2 as part of a broader enterprise ecosystem, offering lifecycle services, centralized IT management, and scalable deployment solutions.
While the new models appear well-equipped for business use, it is worth noting that Germany has temporarily banned sales of ASUS and Acer products due to a patent dispute involving Nokia.
