ASUS appears to have another handheld gaming in its pipeline, and it might be unvieled at Computex 2026. A fresh certification listing has surfaced online, pointing towards yet another ROG Ally model. The leak comes from a newly spotted regulatory filing shared by known hardware leaker Huang514613 (via VideoCardz).

While the listing doesn’t reveal much, the tipster says that the device uses AMD’s Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor. That alone suggests ASUS isn’t preparing a completely new platform, but rather a refresh of its existing handheld.

ASUS appears to be tweaking the ROG Ally again

The certification confirms the presence of the Ryzen Z2 Extreme chip, though most other specifications remain under wraps. As of now, there is no mention of display size, battery capacity, storage options, memory configuration, or other major hardware details.

It looks like, the device is more of a mid-generation update than a true successor. The leaked documentation also references multiple SSD options from Micron, Samsung, and SanDisk, which may indicate ASUS is testing several storage configurations before launch..

The OLED question refuses to go away

Ever since devices like the Steam Deck OLED and Legion Go started pushing OLED displays into the handheld space, many players have been waiting for ASUS to follow suit. The newly surfaced information doesn’t mention an OLED panel, but it also doesn’t rule one out.

For now, it seems another ROG Ally is coming. Only time will tell whether ASUS is bringing a simple refresh or a big upgrade. Whatever maybe the case, we’ll be sharing details as they come in the coming days.
