Black Flag Remake Surfaces on PEGI as Fans Await Ubisoft Reveal
Ubisoft has not confirmed the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake yet, but new evidence suggests that an announcement may be right around the corner. In our The Game Awards predictions, we highlighted the strong chance of seeing the remake unveiled during the show, and now a new development supports that possibility.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Is The Official Name Of The Remake
According to IGN, the PEGI European ratings board briefly listed the title under the name Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The entry assigned an 18+ rating for violence and harsh language, which fits the tone of the original game. Although the listing disappeared shortly after, its appearance strongly hints that official news could be coming soon.
The rating also included a note about in-game purchases. Many fans voiced their frustration, as players continue to push back against microtransactions in full-priced games. PEGI didn’t clarify what type of purchases might appear, so it remains unclear whether Ubisoft plans purely cosmetic items or something more impactful.
Ubisoft has yet to address the listing or confirm any details about the remake. Even so, with The Game Awards fast approaching, excitement continues to grow. Fans remain hopeful that the beloved pirate adventure will finally receive its long-awaited return in an official announcement during the show.
