Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 & Warzone Season 4 Get Official Release Date for All Platforms

Call of Duty players barely had time to catch their breath after the recent reveal of Modern Warfare 4, but Activision isn’t stopping as it has already announced another massive content drop. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 bring fresh multiplayer maps, new Zombies experiences, additional weapons, and major updates to several fan-favorite modes.

Black Ops 7 Season 4 is bringing back some fan favorites

Multiplayer players are getting a mix of brand-new battlefields and returning classics. Among the biggest additions is Vertigo, the beloved Black Ops 2 map that returns fully remastered for modern hardware. Activision is also bringing back Launch later in the season, giving longtime fans another nostalgic battlefield to revisit.

Players can jump into Liminal, a shifting arena where the center of the map constantly changes, while Primetime throws operators into a chaotic Japanese game show-inspired obstacle course. Several returning modes are also making a comeback, including Blueprint Gun Game, Gunfight, Team Blueprint Sharpshooter, and Knife Fight.

Meanwhile, Zombies fans have plenty to look forward to. Season 4 introduces Nuked Survival, a new survival-focused map built around wave-based combat. Activision is also debuting Rogue Run, a roguelite-inspired mode that pushes players through multiple arenas while offering rewards and upgrades between rounds.

Later in the season, the action moves to Kowakujō, a feudal Japanese castle built near an active volcano. That map alone sounds like one of the more ambitious Zombies locations the studio has attempted lately.

Warzone isn’t being left behind

Warzone is receiving significant attention as well. Fortune’s Keep has been refreshed with updated locations, new gameplay mechanics, and additional points of interest. Rebirth Island is also entering a new seasonal phase, while Ranked Resurgence returns for another competitive grind.

Speaking of gameplay additions, Season 4 introduces new contracts, advanced self-revive mechanics, Champion’s Quest challenges, and six fresh weapons, including the AN-94 Assault Rifle.
