Call of Duty Celebrates 25 Years of Xbox With Exclusive Modern Warfare 4 M4 Blueprint

Call of Duty is marking Xbox’s 25th anniversary with a seriously cool Modern Warfare 4 pre-order bonus. The Inner Circuit M4 brings a translucent OG Green design to Xbox Series X|S, while other platforms get a mil-spec finish.

One M4, two different looks

Players who pre-order any digital edition of Modern Warfare 4 will receive the Inner Circuit M4 Blueprint. The blueprint is fully functional and ready to use when the game launches.

Xbox Series X|S players get the special translucent OG Green treatment. It takes inspiration from classic translucent Xbox hardware and exposes the weapon’s internal systems.

Players on PlayStation 5, Steam, Battle.net, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox PC get the mil-spec version. Both versions use identical attachments and perform exactly the same in-game. The visual look is capped on the platform. It can’t be manually changed or selected inside the game.

The Inner Circuit M4 comes with five attachments

The blueprint equips the M4 Assault Rifle with five attachments focused on accuracy, handling, and mobility. It includes the 11.5-inch Shortline Barrel, which improves handling and mobility. However, it sacrifices some recoil control and effective range.

The FTAC Dominion Muzzle helps reduce both vertical and horizontal recoil. The FSS Fireline Grip also provides steadier firing, although it slows snap-to-sight speed. For aiming, the blueprint includes the SZ Prima-4 Dot Optic. The build also features the ZLR ASP50 Stock, which reduces weight and improves movement speed.

Overall, the Inner Circuit build targets players who prefer mid-range and close-range fights. It can also work well alongside a sniper loadout. Call of Duty says the attachments make the M4 more mobile and easier to handle. The trade-off is reduced effectiveness during longer-range engagements.
