ChatGPT Is Down & Not Working for Some Users, OpenAI Confirms Elevated Conversation Errors
OpenAI has confirmed that some ChatGPT users are currently experiencing elevated errors in conversations. The company says it is investigating the issue, while error rates are already improving.
ChatGPT users may encounter errors
According to OpenAI’s status page, the issue is affecting ChatGPT and FedRAMP, with the company currently investigating the elevated error rates. OpenAI has not yet provided a specific cause for the problem.
OpenAI further says that error rates are improving and its team is continuing to assess the recovery. The company has not indicated that all ChatGPT users are affected, meaning the impact may vary between users and plans.
This isn’t the first time ChatGPT has gone down in the last few weeks. Late last month, a similar issue affected ChatGPT conversations, including elevated errors for Pro and Plus users. That’s not all; at the start of this month, login and sign-ups were affected, too.
Users experiencing failed responses or other conversation errors may need to wait while the company continues its investigation. If others around you can use ChatGPT but you can’t, make sure to check our guide to fix issues with OpenAI’s AI assistant.
