Key notes

  • Claude 2 AI builts on its predecessor but is better.
  • The AI model was already able to write convincing texts, but now it's on another level.
  • It managed to bypass the AI detectors almost entirely.

As you might know, there is a new AI model in town: it’s called Claude 2 AI and it builds upon its predecessor in fascinating ways.

We are pleased to announce Claude 2, our new model. Claude 2 has improved performance, longer responses, and can be accessed via API as well as a new public-facing beta website, claude.ai. Think of Claude as a friendly, enthusiastic colleague or personal assistant who can be instructed in natural language to help you with many tasks.

Anthropic

Claude 2 AI, could end up outperforming ChatGPT, and Bing AI, and its stats are impressive. According to Anthropic, Claude 2 scored a 76.5% on the multiple-choice section of the Bar exam. On coding, Claude 2 managed to get a 71.2% up from 56.0% on the Codex HumanEval, a Python coding test. And it seems the model is quite proficient at math too: on GSM8k, a large set of grade-school math problems, Claude 2 scored 88.0% score, which is quite impressive.

If you want to try it, you just have to sign up on the official site and see for yourself how it works. The model is not very different from ChatGPT, or Bing AI, but Anthropic claims it does a better job.

However, while Claude 2 AI is a performant tool, the model is also able to bypass AI detection, and it’s scary to think about the implications of this.

Claude AI bypassing detectors – why is it scary?

Claude AI was released earlier this year, and ever since the model has gained a reputation for itself for being a renowned content writer. Claude 2 AI improves on this and takes it to the next level. claude ai detector

Now the model can write human-like texts, that are capable of bypassing AI detectors. Content generated by the model is able to pass the AI detectors. When the content generated by Claude 2 is given to AI detectors, they detect little to no AI presence in it.

This is worrying due to the fact that people might start to use it for all kinds of purposes, and in the long run, the model can beat the AI detectors entirely. So you’ll be able, for example, to use Claude 2 to write an academic paper, and the AI detectors will not find anything suspicious.

This could lead to a lot of problems, including raising the issue of plagiarism and originality when it comes to AI.

Furthermore, you can use Claude 2 to complete exams, due to its proficiency in coding, writing, and math. You would be able to efficiently cheat on your exams with an AI tool. While this is just a hypothetical situation, the implications are scary.
