Paperclip by FieCube

Before Copilot was everywhere, we had another assistant called Clippy. Although Clippy wasn’t always helpful, it was fun to have around and people look back on it with nostalgia.

This is why some developers are trying to bring it back, but they plan to make it more useful thanks to the power of GPT.

Clippy is back, and it now runs on ChatGPT

If you’re fed up with Copilot, but still want to use AI, then you might be interested in Paperclip by FieCube.

Once you install it, you can find it in your system tray and access it by clicking it or using Windows + Shift + C shortcut.

After that, you just need to enter your prompt and Paperclip will give you answers thanks to the ChatGPT.

Although this software brings nostalgia, it requires the ChatGPT Plus API key to work, so if you don’t have a premium account, you’re out of luck. To learn more, you can check the official GitHub for more information.

We also wrote about the Winpilot tool that uses Clippy to remove bloatware from Windows 11, so don’t miss it.
