We talked about the Copilot for Microsoft 365 launch and now, it’s also available in the mobile version. The Redmond giant also released Copilot for Finance to help professionals deal with their huge heaps of data.
So, the tool is now powering the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint mobile apps as well, but the catch is that Copilot for Microsoft 365 is still only for businesses, not the average user.
What’s new with the Copilot for Microsoft 365 mobile app?
If you look at the screenshot provided by Microsoft in the launch announcement, you will see that it writes Protected right under Copilot. That means that Copilot is infused with commercial data protection in your business environment.
Today, we are excited to announce that we are rolling out the power of Copilot with commercial data protection to the Microsoft 365 mobile app, including Microsoft 365 Copilot integration in Word and PowerPoint mobile.

Moreover, if you have a Copilot license, you can engage with your Word and PowerPoint mobile apps content using the virtual keyboard or even voice activation.
You will be able to create or edit presentations or documents from your smartphone and continue your work on a PC afterwards.
However, the main point is that Copilot for Microsoft 365 is not for everyone. Admins can push it through Microsoft Intune and you may even download the Microsoft 365 mobile app. But you may only use it if you have a Microsoft 365 account for business, education or enterprise and a Copilot license available for $30.
As we’ve mentioned before, someday, the app will be available to anyone with a Microsoft 365 license but right now, the only chance to grab it is if your organization thinks it would be useful.
