Crimson Desert Steam Reviews Hit Mostly Positive After Big Patch
Things are looking up for Crimson Desert on PC. The ambitious open-world action game had a pretty rough start when it first launched on Steam. Players dealt with a lot of annoying bugs and performance issues that made it hard to enjoy the adventure. But the developers just dropped a massive new patch that fixes a huge chunk of those early problems.
Fans are already noticing the difference, and the overall mood is finally shifting.
The patches have fixed major issues with Crimson Desert
The recent update directly targets the most common complaints from the community. Frame rates are much more stable now, especially during crowded combat scenes. The development team also removed several game-breaking glitches that previously forced players to restart their missions.
Combat feels much better, and the menus load faster. Because the game actually runs well now, players are finally able to appreciate the story and the massive world Pearl Abyss built.
The updates have improved the game’s rating on Steam
All of these technical fixes have completely changed the game’s reputation on Steam. When it first came out, user reviews were stuck at a disappointing “Mixed” rating. Now, thousands of players have updated their scores, pushing the game up to a “Mostly Positive” status. It is rare to see a game recover its review score this quickly.
The company listened to the feedback, put in the work, and the PC gaming community is rewarding it for the effort.
