Eight games are leaving XBOX Game Pass on July 31, 2026, including Celeste, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, and Sniper Elite: Resistance.
Microsoft has marked all eight titles as “leaving soon” in the official XBOX mobile app, according to PureXbox.
Major Games Leaving XBOX Game Pass
Celeste is one of the most notable games scheduled for removal. The critically acclaimed platformer remains available across console, PC, and cloud until the end of July.
Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord will also leave the service. The medieval strategy and action RPG supports console, PC, and cloud gaming.
Other major departures include Sniper Elite: Resistance, Crusader Kings 3, and Rain World.

The complete list includes:
- Back to the Dawn: Console, PC, and cloud
- Celeste: Console, PC, and cloud
- Crusader Kings 3: Console, PC, and cloud
- Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord: Console, PC, and cloud
- My Friendly Neighborhood: Console, PC, and cloud
- Rain World: Console, PC, and cloud
- Sniper Elite: Resistance: Console, PC, and cloud
- Whiskerwood: PC
Game Pass Discounts Are Available
Game Pass subscribers can receive discounts of at least 20% when purchasing the departing games.
These discounts will remain available until the games leave the service on July 31. Crusader Kings 3 and Whiskerwood currently have larger discounts through the XBOX Summer Sale.
Players who purchase any of the games can continue playing them after their Game Pass removal.
More Games Are Coming to XBOX
The removals follow several additions to the XBOX ecosystem.
More than 20 games are scheduled to launch on XBOX between July 20 and July 24. Microsoft has also added 40 titles to the XBOX handheld compatibility program.
