NBA 2K17/18/19 is a title every basketball fan should play that simulates the experience of playing in the National Basketball Association and includes several game modes.

MyCareer lets you create your own player and guide him through his career, The MyGM and MyLeague modes allow you to take full control over an entire basketball club, and MyTeam lets you create your own team to challenge other players‘ teams.

Unfortunately, like many other titles, it appears that there are three common errors that affect NBA 2K17’s MyCareer mode and prevent gamers from actually playing.

Fix errors 0f777c90, a21468b6 and 4b538e50 on NBA 2K17/2K18/2K19

Solution 1 – Update NBA 2K17

These three errors most likely occur because you haven’t downloaded the latest game updates. For some players, this may take long depending on the size of the download and the speed of your internet connection.

When the download is complete, you’ll be asked to return to the game’s main menu so the update can go into effect. You can play a series of games in “Play Now” mode to trigger a faster download process.

If you’re playing on an Xbox One, you simply need to restart your console and this should fix the problem. If you use an NBA 2K17 disc, first remove the disc, wait for a couple of minutes and then go back online.

Solution 2 – Select the save file

According to other NBA 2K17 players who contacted 2K’s Support, you can fix errors 0f777c90 and a21468b6 by simply tapping triangle on MyCareer to select the save file.

If you’ve encountered other NBA 2K17 errors that we didn’t list in this article, try using the same troubleshooting methods listed above. It appears that the majority of NBA 2K17 errors are triggered by the fact that you’re not running the latest game updates.

For a better gaming experience, we recommend downloading Game Fire for free. It will help with various gaming issues, such as low FPS, lags and slow PC.

Solution 3 – Clean boot your computer

When playing games, it’s important to make sure that your computer’s resources are directed towards running the respective games. You can disable unnecessary apps, programs and processes by performing a clean boot. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to Start > type msconfig > hit Enter

  3. Go to the Startup tab > Open Task Manager.
  4. Select each startup item > click Disable > close Task Manager > restart the computer.disable startup programs
