Forza Horizon 6 Smashes Every Xbox Game Studios Game’s Steam Concurrent Player Record

Playground Games has absolutely nailed it with Forza Horizon 6. The latest entry in the Forza Horizon franchise has been the most sought-after racing title in recent weeks. Despite multiple leaks spoiled the Playground Games’ party early, the game went on to grab one of the highest scores of 91 (at the time of writing this).

For those unaware, Forza Horizon launched globally as day one release on Xbox Game Pass yesterday. The game is also available on PC via Steam. Considering that many users play PC to play games, it’s important to talk about the Steam concurrent player count to determine the popularity of the game. Well, it seems Forza Horizon 6 is already on a roll.

The latest racing game has smashed all the records held by any other games developed by Xbox Game Studios. At one point, SteamDB data suggested that Forza Horizon 6 had a peak player count of 273,148, which beat the previous record holder Halo Infinite by 500 players (via PureXbox).

At the time of writing this, the concurrent player count stands at over 244,000 and is undoubtedly sitting at the top in the “Trending games” section.
