having the same problem but only with one person I write to. her original email was fine; now all of them are “off the page” so i have to copy then paste into a document. Aggravating and weird.

I have the same problem. The text does not fit within the edges of the screen. Control +/- only makes the letters smaller or larger but doesn’t adjust the screen to allow allow of one text line to appear, making it impossible to read without constantly scrolling across.
Even worse, when I go to print it, the words at end of each line so not appear.
Can anyone out there shed some light in order to fix this problem?

I keep seeing this as the answer. It isn’t! The answer provided here tells you how to make your FONT SIZE larger or smaller, not the GMAIL SCREEN SIZE. I accidentally hit a button, which one, or combination thereof, I don’t have a clue. My screen went from the full screen mode that I liked to such a W I D E S C R E E N that I have to use my mouse to scroll over sideways to get to the other edge! I want the EDGE of the screen BACK where it was! HOW???
